Dear Colleagues and Partners,

The International Summer University at Lueneburg takes place from 17 July to 11 August 2006. It is addressed to students who would like to deepen their knowledge and understanding of the German language, literature, and culture or to those who would like to prepare themselves for a study abroad semester in Germany.

During the four-week courses students get an intensive and effective language training at all levels by highly qualified teaching staff or can improve their knowledge on contemporary German literature or German for business purposes. In addition, they learn about the German culture through lectures on German politics, literature, and cinema held by Lueneburg professors, experience German daily life by exploring the city and the region (optional: a weekend trip to Berlin), and enjoy many cultural events and other leisure activities.
